Nikola Balić

I’m the founding growth lead at Steel, working on browser infrastructure for AI agents. Before that, I led growth at Daytona and worked with Codeanywhere.

Much of my earlier career was at the University of Split, helping researchers turn their work into something people could use. My background also includes teaching data science and researching digital transformation.

I still spend a lot of time building. AgentProbe started with a question: how well can an agent actually use a command-line tool? This site is where I share those experiments, including the parts that go wrong.

Away from the computer, I fish. Sometimes I come back with fewer sinkers.
